what i have learned

when i came to this school i found things to be difficult for me. I learnd alot form the teachers i had. I tried to cope with people form different back grounds. theReading, English and writing was different with the one i had back home. i faced difficulty in some, but some were easy. like in reading i loved it so much . Forexample the Reading on ''Sperersize Me'' it had an in packed on me . also i loved the teacher teaching me reading because i undersand so well and clearly.
As for English i loved my teacher becaused he alwaysed encouraged me in everything i do. Eventhou i was failling but at the end i discovered that he had helped me. the only problem i have in my class is the gammer in the English section. i know i need to improve on that and am working hard on it.

WAYS IN WHICH MY ENVIROMENT IS TOXIC.

Toxic enviroment are the things in my enviroment which affects my health and the way i live.Some examples of things that make my enviroment toxic are the availability of transport,when fast food are cheep,and lack of exercise.There are so many ways in which my enviroment is toxitc to me .

One way in which my enviroment is toxic, is the lack of time.When i get up in the morning i dont have time to eat because form where i live to school is like an hour to get to school . When am in school i get so hungry and the only thing to eat is fast food and this food causes a lot of damage to my systerm.

Another way in which my enviroment is toxic, is the nearness and the availability of fast food.When am on break in school some times, i walk across the road and get some fast food which i eat.I love eating them because they are so cheep and always there when i want them. When i get back home i dont care to eat food at home . I always buy food out . This has made me to put on 10 pounds recently. Also i find some difficulty in breathing.

Finally, the last way in which my enviroment is toxic, is the lack of sport also the availability of transport.Here , since i always eat fast food and dont care to exerise, instead i spend more of my time watching tv and using the computer.Furthermore in the morning when am going to school i dont walk . My dad drops and picks me up this has made me to be lazy to exerise and as a result am putting on more weight than before.

MY WAY OF EATING

this weak was a great one for me for so many reasons.On friday in class i eat chips and i drank green tea. When i left school at about 12:27, i went to work . At work, i eat chicken chips that was it for that day. I have reduced my reat of eating form 3times a dey to twice. This is because at frist i put on so much weight and i discovered that it was food . So when i reduced my rate of eating i lost five pounds and i feel comfortable with my size. On sartuday, i eat fried rice which i made . Also at about 6p.m i drank some juice . On sunday in the morning i eat some bread and tea. now an eating rice and stew. I eat only African food this its because am use to it and they are not all that high in calories like American food.

double deuces

from my own piont of view, I like the characters as they are represented on the tv show. This is because, the tv show is the opposite of whats in the book. For instance, in the book Spenser always watches out for Hawk but in the tv Hawk is the one who watches Spenser he is always there to rescue him form porblems.Also in the book the kind of job Hawk does is not clear where as in the tv show its clearly seen that he is a killer that is he is paid to kill others.I dont realy like the book because it does not capture my attention but coming to the tv show i love the way hawk behaves his looks just makes me love the show.Futhermore, the tv show also give a detail about the love affair between Susan and Spenser.

after the seen where hawk confronted john porter , there were back in he car this time jakie was at the back and she did not understand half of what major was saying. hawk was trying to explain things to her this talk or conversation couldf be seen in chapter 13



we were back in hawks car. i was sitting this time behind , hawk and spenser in front. both of them had short guns.''would you like to reprise all that for me i said.''kids playing a game,'' hawk said '' the leader?major?'' ''i didn't even understand half what he was saying'' i said . ''gangs have their own talk,'' hawk said. ''u didn't understand either,'' i said 'not all of it. got the drift though.''

HOW IS CHELSEA'S SITUATION A REALITY

As for me, the aspect of chelsea being a mother will be so difficult for her to handle .This is because, she is still in her teens and has no experience on how to care for a baby, or to run a home . It will be so stressfull for her to get along with this, but as she gets older she will get use to her situation.Also getting pregnant at that young age is so disgrecaful to her and her family. It will be difficult for her to cope with school and take care of the baby . The most painfull part of this is that the father of the baby dose not care about the baby . And it will be so hard for her to get over him . All of this happens in every day life and am glad to know that she is some how strong for the baby . Back in cameroon where i come from if a girl gets pregnant when she lives with her parents, the parents sents her out of the house in to the streets to faint for her and the baby. Also affter the boy finds out that you are with child, he says you are old school , and wared out . And that he needs another . Am so happy that chelsea stand out as one of the girls to talk to us that getting pregnant before marriage is not fun . An her story has thaught me alot on how to leave my life.

technology and how it has an impact on pop culture

pop culture, are the things and items copy from others, consume. that is pop culture is what we consume, copy in our every day life. these are some examples of pop culture. communication .which falls under technology. music, fashion, cyberculture and interesting novels or books. I will like to talk about technology as a hold and peotery.
technology, are the methodes some people use in other to organise materials or products for consumption for example, communication, cloths, energy and transport. all of theses examples have an effect on the society and its sorroundings in a number of ways . that is all of this have an effect on pop culture. technology has helped develop more advanced economices . some physicians used technology to keep pop culture moving forward like Lewis H. Latimer. he was one of the frist person to invent the manufacture of carbons in the electric lighting in dustry untill it became world wide. carbon was invented in june/ 17/1882. carbon is a non metal and it is made up of extreamly thin fibers which are made up of carbon atoms held together by a carbon bone which is a strong force of attraction called the vandewal force or the dipol dipol bone . the carbon he created was in the graphite from . and graphite is a good conductor of electricity. without him at that time there will be no bullbs .so this can be seen that he played a very important role in our society . In addition he did peotery. He wrote and intresting peom on the topic love is all and i know this article didv not only enriched his life dut also the life of others . also i know it had a great impact in the society. i will eand with this saying '' many hands do light work''.

As for my own view, i thing the show is not real because the cast are not from dc .if they were form dc i thing it would have be more real.Emily and ty like theirsleaves but they don't get along.emily and mike know that they are bi-sexuals and they just let it be when the realy have something incommon andrew tries to express his feelings for cellie but she only see him as a friend.also ashly and mike were sharing a bed untill mike brought a guy to the house , they stop sharing the bed.i feel the show is valueble because it brings people of different personalities.

HOW THE TYRA SHOW IS REALITIC TO ME.

I like the tyra show because, she talks about real things that women ,teens all over the world face on daily bases .for example, one time on the show, when tyra carried out a suvey, it was proven that teens between the age of 13 to 18 are highly active sexually .A.nd tish have lead to the high rates of teen pregnancy , sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS, STD and many others So some of this grils came to the show and they were ready to share their expirience with others.As tyra ask questions to some of them , it was discovered that some of them knew that it was so right to have sex at that age . Others said that being in college and seeing your friends doing so therefore it was right to do so . In additon, they were ready to learn an correct their mistakes .So tyra told all the mums to start talking to their kids at the age of 13 about sex that this will make the children to atleast have an idea about sex , which will reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancies and othe sexually transmitted diseases.Furthermore, they was one time when she talked about the uniqueness of ones porson. Here she saide that a person should learn to apperciate his or her natural person that we should not try to change our person because all of this have an after effect in the future ,She said all this because there was a female child of 7, she was desperate to change her skin color at that tender age ,the was a boy of 5 who wantad to decome a female.also, was a girl who wanted to be like tyra .So tyra had to tell them discourage them form all of this by telling them thah changing your color can cause skin cancer in the near future ,tyra told the boy that he was just perfect and at the end the boy of 5 and the girl of 7 left the show telling people that having a surgery is realy not good that as from that moment, she will learn to love herself.Also the girl who wanted to be like tyra ,was bent on doing so tyra had to take off all her make ups and stayed in her natural person for the girl to see.After she saw tyra she said she will remain natural for the rest of her life . The TYRA show has done alot in my life . i changed today its because of her and i will advice every one to do same.

communication is a means through which we talk to people ,friends. family members.for example the enternet i like it because i talk to my family back at home also i do research on the enternet i look up fof things which i dont know and iwant to know more about them .it teaches me alot on so many things like knowing how to type ,print my assngments and many others fruthermore i have a cellphone this is the fastest means of communication ,that is reaching out to people for example i had an emergency in school which needed the attention of my parents and just because i had a phone i could solve that particular problem and it was a matter of life and death because my sister was at the point of death so from that day i considered commumication as a most important part in my life to be continued........................
